I love "Amazing Race" because you get to see the different places that the racers visit. You get to root the ones you like or dislike. I thought it was so cool that the Hippies won it all on AR7.

That is my FAVOURITE show!! To be able to travel and do things, vicariously, through the contestants is wonderful! Oh, to have the money and time to really travel the world like that! WOW!
I realize that the contestants are picked for "entertainment value" and I suppose we need to have people we hate (i.e. people who don't even like other cultures) - after all, we can't want them ALL to win. *YEAH for the "Hippies" of the last series - SOOOOOO happy to see them win. They had the right attitude all along.
I seem to remember, though, in the first season that they had more "clues" to solve. Is my memory faulty or did they drop that part because the contestants were too stupid to figure them out??

yes i love that show i scream at the tv when someone goes the wrong way my brother made the idea for family amazing race and they actually used it but that one wasnt that good

YES... and it never ceases to amaze me at just how stupid the typical 20 something on that show can be... those people are really DUMB and, obviously, they are NOT world travelers... what a bunch of losers.

Yes..and I was so happy that the "Hippies" won last season..I adored those guys! I am excited it will be on Sunday nights because T.V. for me that night is pretty weak except for The 4400 and The Dead Zone.
