First of all, "miscarriage" is the medical term for a pregnancy that ends SPONTANEOUSLY (without any kind of intervention, medical or otherwise) before the 20th week. When it is ended at will, it's called an ABORTION. This is legal in this country, but only when done by a properly licensed MD in an appropiate medical facility (like a hospital or clinic). Any other person that does or tries to terminate a pregnancy, is committing a FELONY (i.e., practicing medicine without a license to do so; this can put this person behind bars for quite a lot of time). So, if either you or somebody else is considering this alternative (I want to make clear that I'm PRO-CHOICE), please go to www.plannedparenthood.com, where you can find more information about properly licensed family planning facilities in your area.

There's nothing you can do to actually bring about a miscarriage. Your body is designed to carry a baby, and protect it. Humans wouldn't have survived for a million years on this planet if having miscarriages were easy.
