My late Grand Mother (My Father's Mother). She had five children of her own and then she adopted seven other children. She neglected her own children and lavished all the love and attention on the adopted children.
I would like to ask her why she did what she did; was it because of the pain she suffered when giving birth to her own children?
My father never understood why his mother acted the way she did and neither did any of his siblings.
