I doubt there will be more seasons of either show. Both lead actors have moved on to other projects. You may see an Angel movie if anything. I kind of think the season finale left a hole in the story of the characters and I would love to see some closure for the characters.
So don't hold your breath for any more seasons on TV. I think its too late to go back.

I think Buffy finished on series 7. I have all of them and I haven't heard anything about series 8.
I think there will be more angel though
