Light Is Energy seen as Visible light or felt as Heat etc released from the fusion of hydrogen and other elements in stars, visible light that you refer to is a small section of broader spectrum that as well as V light includes xrays, radio waves etc.

It is very basically energy released from fusion that can be read across a broad spectrum.
