that's how ppl are... but only those who love selflessly will not be bothered abt past mistakes.. in fact... they'll accept u with ur mistakes, cause ur choices have made u wat u are today.. and they love u for who u are.. not who u were!

That's a really good question, I ask myself that a lot. I think that some people, just think they are better than others and that's why they judge. They do not have the right to judge you. I find it best to ignore them. And live your life.

As sad as this is , some people just have to dwell on the negative and want to remain judgemental. They don't want to see you've changed, it's more THEIR problem than your's.
Find new people who are supportive of the changes you've made in your life and keep on making changes as you need to. Good luck. Lizzytish

Judge not, lest you be judged........................that is just the way some people are...... it will not matter what you do, you can't change them, nor should you try,,, just keep your head up, move on with your life and don't worry about those kind of people. keep your life in order, and people will soon see you have changed,,,, opinions are like a--holes, everyone has one,, just hang in there.

I fully understand where you are coming from. I am a recovering alcoholic. The people who knew me from my drinking days still look at me with doubt. It is hard for some to forgive and forget, live and let live. You get my meaning. If someone knew you from the past, and you did something wrong to them, or hurt them, they will be the least likely to forgive.

Because you haven't proven that you've changed......it hasn't been long enough.....and it depends on what you did. Nothing is just black and white, there are grey areas all over the place.
A pedophile can say he's changed his life around but it would be very stupid for people to believe and trust him again.

That's human nature for you. It will take time, but as people see the "new you", their perception of you will change.
Just stay consistent in your personal improvements. Establish a track record and they will eventually see that the "old you" as "a phase he was going through."

most, do it so then u dont make it again, others do it to just piss u off, and some just do it bc they dont want you to forget about who you were and they want you to believe tht u still are teh person u were when u did tht mistake. They dont want you to feel like you've changed...if u did.

Probably because they havent changed anything about themselves and don't want to acknowledge someone else actually has. Just be true to yourself, its all you can do.
