Not the liquid one and not the pencil one. The one that comes in a stick, it's like a lip liner. Here's a pic.

That is a pencil, but instead of sharpening, you twist it. It is better because the wood of pencils harbors bacteria which can cause infections such as 'Pink Eye'. To apply on top lid, pull the skin taut at the outer corner of your eye and follow the eyelash line. Do not apply thick at first, try thin. Once you are more experienced, you can experiment with thickness. I prefer to draw my line thicker towards the inner corner of my eye and make it thinner as I go out. It makes my eyes look more 'feline'. For the bottom lid, draw the liner on the inner eyelid, and apply a few times to make it as dark as you need. If you do not feel comfortable with applying to the inner eyelid, use a bit of eyeshadow to accent. Do not apply very heavily, or you will look silly ^_^.

I have that kind of eye-liner, too. But all eyeliner is basically applied with the same method. Just put it on right above your lower lash line all the way across your eye. I always put my finger right below my eye and pull my lower lashes down for extra easy application. And make sure to definitely NOT pile it on. A little will do the trick.
Good Luck!

Draw it on as close to your lashes as you can on your upper lid only. Then take a soft sponge and smudge it into the lashes. The purpose of liner is to make your lashes look longer. Use black if your lashes are black or brown if they are brown.

pull down your lower eye lid and just gentlyy applyy it there. it may 'tickle' as some people sayy but after you do it a few times it doesnt anymore. alsoo tryy to draw a fine line along your bottom eyelash line. thats what i do and it works.

since this kind is really heavy, i suggest dotting it on the bottom lashes. DO NOT make one straight line. after all the look is natural
