When there was such a bad ice storm in the south that everybody lost their electricity, we got a 2 -3 week dose of what it would be like to go back a century.

It seemed like nobody liked it at all; especially the kids.
However, it was so nice that everybody turned into the village mentality and got close to other human beings. The true community spirit was born.
People gathered together and played cards and visited and enjoyed each others company. When we run out of something we are used to having, we draw closer together.

I thought it was pretty neat!
