There is considerable evidence for global warming, and stastics have proved that tempratures in certain areas have increased. However, that is a gross over simplication of a more complex problem. Iin this case humanity and the earth is the proverbial frog in boiling water. We are living in an experiment. The quesiton should not be do you believe the world is warming, but do you blieve ewhat everyone else says will ahppen. Poerple have been guessign about the weather for ages, and always seem to come out wrong. I will not place too much faith in the whims of otehrs who have given me no reason to believe t=what they say.

No, I don't "believe" in it. I UNDERSTAND it, and I have read the research (I stay current on it constantly).
First off, Al Gore is an opportunistic wack-off. He's not a part of the science any more than he was a part of inventing the internet. So if you're a conservative wack-job that gets your news about the world from the Fox network.....relax. This has nothing to do with Al, who's just looking for attention.
The glaciers in Glacier National Park are receding so much that in 10 years they will not exists. The ice in the polar ice caps is quickly receding miles each year from BOTH poles. In addition, earth's temperatures are rising slightly. They can't rise quickly until all of the ice on the poles is gone first.
So.....what's your explanation for these phenomena? Are you resorting to "believing" in something, or is there some scientific evidence you actually understand to back up a viewpoint?

What do you mean who beleives in it. Like beleive it exists. Or beleives in it like its a good thing? It exists , but the term warming is deceptive. Even though this has been a hotter then average summer global warming actually contributes to temperatures dropping. As the polarcaps melt and the water rises the temperatures on the whole drops. Thats why so many winters in the lasst tweny years have been so friggin cold. And the summers havent been hot like they use to either.

I'm not completely buying the who global warming theory myself. I still believe that we have alot of haze way up in the atmosphere from when a giant volcano erupted on earth thousands of years ago. that's what sparked the ice age, how it filled the atmosphere with so much volcanic ash, that it drop the temperature and killed alot of dinosaurs. every year a little more of this falls or deteriorates and the climate starts to get warmer and warmer. If you can imagine nearly 70 % of the world was a tropic climate before the ice age, they take soil samples and proved this. that's my belief

I believe that Global Warming is real. Will it continue? What is causing it? Is it natural? Where will it lead? That's what I don't know. I prefer not to comment as even lifelong climatologists disagree and they know way more than I.

Global warming is different. It created the ice age era. It is cause by two factors: nature and humans.

If I didn't believe in it before, after spending the hottest July on record in the city of Las Vegas, I sure believe in it now. As a matter of fact the past week in the entire country should convince Americans if they weren't previously convinced.

I'm not convinced at all.

But even if Global Warming is a big lie, what does it hurt for us to use our resources better anyway?

Why do you have to believe in something that exists? If we can no longer drink rain water because of all the chemicals, there is a serious problem. And I don't know natures true intent or fury? She is angry. But she is humble just as us.
