In the simple world we live in and which we see, two people born are unequal in many respects, in the socio-economic conditions, talents, qualities, colour, etc. A big question is why one peson born on this earth is less or more fotunate than the other. Here lies the basic thought which is the root of the karmic and re-incarnation theory. The first intutive idea is that he must be so due to his own deeds. That seems the only logical explanation. Of course, this explanation rests on the belief, that there is a logic governing this world and not everything is chaotic. But, also, faith is the stepping stone for a theory, it is then the initial inputs which forms the theory, and finally the theory is tested by time in various differing conditions. Had Newton not believed that there can be a relation between the moon revolving around the earth and the apple falling from the tree, may be Gravitation theory might have never come to existence. Hence the reincarnation theory builds from this point and as it progresses, it beautifully establishes a unity between all phenomenons.

I'm a Reincarnationist.

Reincarnation is a natural law which most people are not aware of. I was a kid like the ones described by Dr. Ian Stevenson http://www.childpastlives.org who came into the world with memories of my most recent life, which was between the early 1900s and the mid 1930s. When I began talking, I often insisted to my mom that I had "another mother" and I wanted to know why she wasn't there with me. And when I began walking, I slipped out the back door toward the woods, determined to find my way back home. I always knew my name and many details of my life, and some of the circumstances around my death. I knew nothing about reincarnation at that time, and I can remember feeling so confused when I was very young, wondering if I was the only person in the world who had "come back" in a new body. I felt that I had been cursed by 'God' to reincarnate, when no one else had.

It's my belief that one of the reasons I remember this past life is to have the opportunity to share the experience with others and let them know that reincarnation is real - whether they believe it or not. It's a message of hope, and it's the Rosetta Stone that clarifies 'God' in ways that no religion could ever do.

I have researched this most recent past life of mine and proved beyond all doubt to myself and those who know me that the memories I was born with are genuine recollections of myself in another time and place - but proof wasn't necessary - I've always *known* I was here before.

Reincarnation is a belief (just like any other religious belief) that is based on some very common sense principles. One scientific principle states that in the universe of matter, nothing is created and nothing is destroyed and that all energy must return to its source eventually. Therefore, when a life is "created" it is merely being "recreated" over and over again. There is too much evidence existing to prove past life existence (see any of Sylvia Brown's books) and also the existence of "ghosts" who have yet to "cross over" to the other side of the energy/time continuum. Read also: The Celestine Prophesy by James Redfield which talks about how all of us have come "back" to earth to complete our Karmic journey/mission that was begun in our last life.

I believe in reincarnation. Not so much because of the de-ja-vu's I get but because I have seen very young children knowing about things they have not had access to yet. Or people who are drawn to another culture than their own, knowing the language and culture there better than where they were born. I think there is a lot of proof of this, just too many people afraid to believe.

Reincarnation is the process in which souls are given the oppurtunities to grow and learn all that they were originally destined to do. All souls are to experience life in all different walks of life before completing its cycle.

Personally, I believe that I was alive in Ancient Egypt, a sort of harlot, or harem member, to the royalty.

Also, I have reason to believe that I was a memeber of the Druidic community.

For some reason I feel connected to the 20's thru the 40's era. I love everything and the familiarity about that era has me baffled. I met a friend of mine who knows me better than anyone I know. I know her just as well. We feel like we have known one another. I quit trying to explain it. There was something that had drawn us together. I don't completely believe it but I know it is possible.

Yes, I'm Wiccan and I believe in it. Who's to say how many times a person has been around? Sometimes I have flashes of a brothel, I think maybe I was the madam!!

I know reincarnation exists, I know I have been here manytimes before and I have come back for a reason, but the reason wasn't to explain to you what or who I was necessarily.

Yes, it's for real.

I remembered my first past life recall about two or so months ago during a dream. I remembered I was living in India as a woman from another country. I had studied many religions and spirituality. I ended up chosing Hinduism as my religion to study seriously on my spiritual path.

While living in India, I studied under a woman guru. I remembered this temple that had this giant monkey statue on the outside.

I had to leave the ashram for a couple of days, my guru was asking me some medicine-related questions if I was prepared and had them.

On the way travelling, I got horribly sick with a dreadful disease. It was smallpox. My entire body was mummified. A man carried me to the doctor's. It was not modern at all. Kind of primative. I'm guessing it was around the beginning of the 20th Century. He poured water on my body that was wrapped up in white cloth, I screamed like bloody h*ll. Blood seeped through the cloth. I was above watching the whole thing.

I did not feel anything, but I felt a lot of compassion for my past self and for the horrible suffering she was going through. I felt it was so unnecessary. They also put me against the wall to circulate my blood. My eyes were covered up too. My guru came to visit me as she was given word that I was dying.

My last words spoken were "Brahman of all things". I had my mind focused on God when I died which is very important for your next life.

This life, I ended up feeling at home with Hinduism after studying spirituality and religions for 17 years. I am picking up where I left off. Amma is now my Satguru in this life. This past life recall helped me understand who I am in this life by explaining how I ended up on this journey and plus that disease helped wipe clean some bad karma. It was quite insightful.

There is a very interesting site http://www.johnadams.net This guy Walter Semkiv, M.D. had some some research on many cases of past lives and wrote a book called "Return of the Revolutionaries" which I have read. It is fascinating to read and there were many stories of how people can to find out who they are in their past life and became shocked at how identical the looked like in their former life. It is a known fact that our Soul would retain very similiar facial features life after life. There are many examples on that website. Take a look!

I also wrote two posts about past lives on my 360 blog, the first about the above recall and the second about how people look like their past lives:
