It's a vocal tenor clef, used by tenor voices (hence it's name) and by lead guitar parts. It looks like a treble clef with a little number 8 on the bottom of it.

It's read the same as the treble clef but an octave lower

I just saw a tenor clef on www.musicarrangers.com. I had never saw one before, but try them, I bet you can find your answer and a lot more.

erm.. Tenor plays the treble clefs right?

I only know that tenor sax plays the treble clef, and its not difficult to read the notes, but it is difficult to teach you thru words though.

They are usually the "upper" notes in the bass clef...Is that what you meant?
