My best friend is beautiful, smart, sexy, and funny. She wants breast implants (not huge, just average size) but I have told her she doesn't need them. Everyone loves her the way she is, and I just can't talk her out of it. Any suggestions? She already knows the health risks.

Ultimately, it's her body and her money. If she wants them, it's her decision.
What you can to do help is to be supportive before and after her surgery. Post op, she will need help with everything from brushing her hair to changing her clothes.
It sounds like you are a good friend who only wants the best for her!

If this is something that will give her more confidence, and she is aware of the risks and has the money, I say let her do it. My friend did it, and at first I tried to talk her out of it, but she's happy now, and so much more confident - who am I to tell her she did the wrong thing? She'd saved for years to do it, so it wasn't just a spur of the moment thing. Just because I, myself, wouldn't do it, doesn't mean it's a bad thing to do. We all tell everyone that physical beauty doesn't matter - that it's what's on the inside that counts. While you and I believe that, there are others who don't, and Hollywood is a blatant example of that - so are magazines. If this makes her feel better, support her decision.
Edited to add: Yes, there ARE always health risks when you have surgery.

Well first of all there aren't any health risks if she gets saline implants. I don't think they use silicone anymore.
I got saline breast implants about 11 years ago and I regret it. They're a pain in the *** not to mention back.

You are a good friend and if you have let her know how you view her as well as others and she still wants to have it done then it's really her choice. It's a very personal thing and even though she might not show you she might have her reasons for doing so, have you asked her if this is the issue? Othewise, just be supportive and let her know that you are there for her no matter what...

Seriously, it's her life, and there is nothing else you can do. You've told her how you feel and I bet you are not the only one who has said so. Just be her friend and go with the flow. It might make her happier, but who knows. Some people are like that. Make sure that part of your reason for not wanting her to is not your own jealousy. I don't mean to sound mean, but sometimes that is what is deep down.

Get all the information on the health risks mental and physical that you can get your hands on and present it to her in writ ting some times things do not seem real until it is seen written on paper. If she decides to go thou with the procedure you are just going to have to be a good friend and support her decision.

my advice is tell her the truth. do you know that if brest implants go wrong then her entire breast will become huge and droop so low that it will touch her belly button? then it will get infected and she mght die out of it.they showed it in 'the insider' last night.even if the surgery goes well, it is really uncomfortable to move around with something stuck under your skin. how do you feel if a splinter is stuck in your finger? now imagine 10 times bigger splinter inside your two boobs.how does that feel? tell your friend to read my answer. i think it might convince her.

it seems that she's really sure about her decision
remind her what a great, beautiful person she is without them, but if you've done everything you could, just let her get them
you've already been a good friend by trying to warn her, etc
so, if you really care about her, just let her get them since she wants them so much

Ask her if she knows most men prefer real than fake boobs today. Fake boobs feel differently and look differently. Most times they bust and have to be fixed. Sometimes they appear bigger on one side and smaller on the other. You already said it," she's beautiful without them". You are a great friend.

Sometimes you just have to step back and let the friend do what they want regardless of how you feel about it. Just be supportive and be there for her regardless of her decission - that's what a real friend would do.
