The sense of community.
Other places I've lived, I've felt included within a month or 2.
I've lived here for just over a year, and I still wonder if anyone actually cares. Sure, the people are nice, but they're all in ruts up to their armpits! They say the only difference between a rut and a grave is the dimensions!.... well, this commuinty is closer than most. It's an older much more settled community, so I guess it's understandable... still uncomfortable, though.

Our Children. Sexual abuse is on the rise and that is just what gets reported. Neglect is snowballing with the nation hooked on meth and the kids don't get attention or things they need-like wholesome food and time with loving parents. Education for the kids is suffering because the kids aren't well nourished,don't get enough good sleep, and the schools are overcrowded due to illegal immigration and the baby-boomer's many, many grand-kids attending.No one is teaching their kids morals or values and only send them to church to get them away from the house for awhile or to Vacation Bible School to be babysat for hours.Kids are growing up mad,uncontrolled,starting sex earlier trying to find some kind of love and acceptance that they never get at home, using drugs more to dull the pain and because they see their parents doing it and because anyone can afford the meth,and buying firearms to protect themselves because no one else will. The children of our world need help desperately and quickly!!!

Intollerance-It was my hope when I was younger that as we come into contact with more and more human beings and see the folly of intollerant behavior more and more that it would break down the walls between us and make us more accepting but if anything it seems to make the devides between our sexes, races and religions only more difficult to suprpass.
