Hybrids aren't really expensive, if you compare you fuel savings, tax incentives, lower maintenance costs..etc

The cost of ownership can actually be cheaper!
I have personally cut my fuel consumption by more than half, not just by driving a Hybrid, but by other means as well.

Yea but the point is with SUV's is they're gas guzzling hogs! What happens when there is no more crude oil to supply our cars, because of those big ugly oversized SUV's that are driven by 90% of woman who can't even drive the damn things.

Well, you're getting an electric motor along with a large battery pack as well as the specialized control circuitry for it. That stuff all costs money!

If you think they cost alot to buy wait till you have to fix it! It has 2 motors not just one!

probably, but the whole point is not to burn more gas than necessary, not if you can afford it.
