For the sheer spectacle, it's GOT to be dirt late models. Start 40 late models on a 1/2 mile track and watch the fun begin! I've seen hundreds of races and nothing from the spectators point of view quite compares. On the other end, nothing will ever match a Top Fuel car making a 4 1/2 second pass right in front of you. TV cannot capture the noise and power! Everybody with a heartbeat should go to an NHRA or IHRA event at least once.
