do they support israel unconditionally because they are dumb, or evil?

I don't think the Bible was meant to promote one nation or race over another.

Billy and the other guy:

The Bible doesn't break promises, ok...firstly, I didn't realize the purpose of religion was to act as a real estatesman. Secondly, the fundamental principles of Christianity (thou shall not steal, kill) are contrary to what Israel does.

I'm pretty tolerant of different beliefs I have friends with all kinds of diff values BUT this is...well I told you what I'm inclined to think about these people. Above all, they are making America vulnerable by supporting an international menace.

I don't think Zionists or Christians have done much to enhance their lackluster reputation lately as invaders and imperialists

I do not think we are either dumb or evil for supporting Israel. The Bible clearly states (repeatedly and emphatically) that the land of Palestine is given to the Jews forever, that whoever blesses them will be blessed and whoever curses them will be cursed. God is not a capricious tyrant such that He breaks His promises, and that promise is a very old one. Therefore we who worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and who read His words and believe His promises, will certainly never desert the Jewish people. Our Zionism is both sincere and devout, and will always be so. We could not be Bible-believing Christians and think or do otherwise.

I don't think it's because they are dumb, or evil, it's because they have no choice but to support them

look into the concept know as "dispensationalism" - its a commonly held belief amongst many Evangelical Christians (Fallwell, Hagee and more than one US president) that the rise of the antichrist and the battel of Armageddon (an actual Valley in Israel - Har Meggeddio) will lead to the return of Christ and the Christian rapture - where the "elect" will ascend to Heaven.

They earnestly hope for the apocalypse via "the End Times"

You are right, the Bible doesn't promote one race, but there are promises made to Israel from God. One promise is that the land they are currently fighting over is theirs, another is a promise that they will have and dwell in their land in peace. We Christians believe that God keeps His promises and one day there will be peace.
