then when you get to 2 digit numbers like 23 you put the 2 then the 10 then the 3 so it would go like this....
ni zyuu san =23
Also 100= hyaku 1000=sen 10000=man

I looked online and found the website below which tells you how to count up to a much higher number than 8 (which I think was wrong anyway!)
