Never. I make my own life, I do not depend on anyone "giving" money or gifts to me.
Most people's "gifts" come with too many strings. Standing on your own feet is the best way to live. You take all the credit for your life. All the kudos when you succeed and you know 100% that you did it your way. And if you fail, it's your secret. It's the only way to live.
Monetary gifts are nice but why worry about "getting" from someone else? You can get off your duff and find your own fortunes. Money does not make a person successful. Living happily makes you successful and that's a huge choice.
You can choose to enjoy the idea that you can afford to keep a roof over your head, and enjoy the fact that the stuff in your home is stuff you bought. You can enjoy yourself if you are a good person, putting positive energy out into the world and helping others. You can enjoy your friends because you made those relationships on your own. Look at all the bounty that is in your life! (Now I know Oprah has said this same stuff. Oprah is already everyone's mother, aunt, sister; she's out there for the whole world, providing a wealth of good stuff to have a positive, successful life.)
Your crack at Oprah and Gayle is so nasty, you'd be a happier person if you taught yourself to find the positive in other people and focus on that, rather than gossip about people.
Good luck to you.

Let's think about this for a minute... Money aside, what would life be like?
Bill would be on me about forgetting to sweep the helipad in 100 degree heat, washing the yacht, fixing B.U.B. the bipedal, user-friendly, bluetooth vacuum-cleaning droid, and testing the Blue Screen of Death Home Security System every week. If I forget to do my chores he'll send me off to the $1 billion Microsoft Dungeon he built in the basement just for me, but it's not like I can't figure out you just need to open the unlocked windows to get out of it... Maybe it's not so bad.
Oprah would give me an earful every day of my life and force me to read one of her recommended books before going to bed. If I ever stepped out of line, she'd send me over to Dr. Phil's place for a 3 hour lecture on how to live my life and then force me to sit up and stay awake the whole time or else I can't eat anymore junk food until I'm old enough to move out.
I would think both would be total control freak parents. You'd probably be rich, but not necessarily happy or free.

Bill Gates my father, that would be something, whenever I have a programming problem I'd know where to turn. But Oprah... that would mess me up.

No thanks. I love the Dad I have. I wouldn't mind having Bill Gates' money, but I wouldn't trade him for my father.
By the way, maybe your Father should spend a little more time with you on your school work. Your spelling is terrible.

I don't because I have a Dad that actually has taken an active role in raising me instead of some celebrity with an agenda.

Never. My parents are my parents, I love them no matter what. I wouldn't trade them for the world, wait, okay maybe for the whole entire world, because without the world, they would be gone, too..... But you know what I mean!
