So you have to give up the best RB and a good WR to get..
A very good RB
2 very good WRs
And a D who is gonna be in the top 5 this year...
Unless you have Bears as your defense, I would say make the trade...

HELL NO!!! Heres why Shaun Alexander is gonna score over 20 td's easily Portis wont get near that number, he wont score more than 15. Plus Alexander will go for more rushing yards probably around 1,800 and portis will be around 1,500 to 1,600. Fitzgerald is gonna have a better year than Holt. Plus HOlt is in a new offense where the passing game isn't the focus. The rams are gonna rely a lot on Steven Jackson. Moss is the x-factor he will probably have a better season then last year, but Aaron Brooks sucks something awful, and you can count on Moss getting frustrated by week 6 or so and he'll either give up or get hurt. The Indy D shouldn't even play into your decision. Dont do it.

This is a tough question because you're not losing much but really, you're not gaining anything. Alexander and Portis cancel each other out, as do Holt and Fitzgerald. Now Randy Moss would be a good add-on, as would Santana Moss and the Indy D is a nice pick-up for you provided you need a D.
Therefore, with this reasoning, I wouldn't do it unless you need the receivers. If you don't, don't

Sure, because you're getting 2 starting WR's for the price of 1, and when all is said and done, Portis, could be just a point or 2 off on average of Alexander this season, depending on how the cookie crumbles.
I'm assuming the Indy D is an upgrade for you, as well. Go for it!

YES!!!
Alexander is going to be doomed this season 'cause the madden curse. Plus getting Portis and Holt for Fitzgearald is a EXCELLENT trade.
not to mention adding Moss (I'm assuming Randy or Santana) and The Indy D will make your team the team to beat.

absolutely. Portis is due. Holt delivers every year. Moss could be a big sleeper this year....think of Joe Horns numbers with Aaron Brooks in N.O.

hella ya, alexanders #s are gonna be lower then last year, and fitz, as good as he is, he isnt better the holt. portis is gonna hav his best season yet, cuz of the recievers they added...but which moss? GO FOR IT!
