LAN is Local Area Network. That is a group of computers networked together off the internet. WAN is wide area network. That is what a LAN uses to connect to the internet. WLAN is Wireless Local Area Network. That is the same as LAN but using wireless technology. ISP is Internet Service Provider. That is who allows you to connect to the internet.
