i have seen the exorsism of emily rose boogeyman the exorsist and house of wax they werent very scary but i liked them

From the last few years Japanese horror films have usually been scariest: The Ring Trilogy, The Eye, Pulse, The Grudge and so on. For older ones go for "classics", they are classic for a reason! My favorites (though not necessarily the scariest) include Quatermass And The Pit, Nosferatu, Das Kabinet Das Doktor Calligari and so on.
It's a largely personal thing though, you can't really take recommendations on what will frighten you as it is to do with your individual subconscious, just watch loads of stuff and see what makes you jump!
Enjoy having lots of dead baby dreams (or is it just me that has those after a horror fest?!!) and most of all, BEWARE of remakes- they are generally crap!
