Is it true about mutual masturbation?

I have read that about 50% of all guys had fasntasies of masturbating or being masturbated by another guy and about 40% of guys have actually done this. I myself have had ideas about it but never got around to doing it. I want to know if this is true and normal? Does anyone have some stories to share too?
