I never heard Disney mention of adding new countries to the World Showcase at EPCOT. Really, is there is even any room? I do not think there is much room for any other countries to be added.

I was there back in October 2004 when Epcot had their International Food & Wine Festival. During that time the World Showcase added tons of new countries to the area so that guests could sample different kinds of food and drink from all over the world along with the current countries that are already there. Unfortuantely there wasn't any room to erect additional buildings so stands were set up along the walkways fro these countries.

Well, a while back (I think it was inthe 80's) they were planning on putting Israel where the "Outpost" is now, but there were some political complications and it was canned. As far as I know, they don't have any plans as of now, but who knows?

I asked that question and was told that officially they keep their options open. But from what some insiders have told me is "no".

I guesse do to space and the interference it would cause is the big factor.
