seriously we could do with one of those....

Pet Semetary and IT did it for me when I was younger - but that's always coz someon's cat would show up and we'd all scream - so kind of fun more than scary.

And clowns....huge cliche but I've always been scared of clowns...

There have only been two that have freaked me out so badly that I cannot watch them...one is Salem's Lot and the other is Phantasm. Other than that I LOVE scary movies!!! The Shining was a GREAT movie and although it did unnerve me to see it for the first time (you think the movie is scary...read the book! *yikes*) but I can (and do) watch this movie over and over...it is a classic and rates right up there with Psycho.

The first exorcist scared the life out of me. Not the pea soup scenes, but the beginning when the priest is at an archaeological dig and the clock stops. That really freaked me out.

Trilogy of terror with that little evil doll freaked me out for months.

Then things that overwhelmed my senses made me look around my shoulders for days, Jurassic Park (the first one), Starship Troopers (giant spiders?).

But for some reason Aliens and Zombies really get my goat most of all. My husband is not allowed to watch them when the lights go out since it will keep me up all night long.

The Exorcist always scares the crap out of me. And Saw I and II were both seriously disturbing. Yep, definitely had nightmares about all three of those movies.

the only action picture that made me scared became The tooth Fairy (the frightening action picture, no longer the single with The Rock in it, lol). That became only because of fact i became like, 8 and that i had only lost a tooth that day, Ha NO! It wasn't the tooth fairy action picture, it became referred to as Darkness Falls i think of :o

"28 days" made me jump and squeal, i prefer thriller types like "stir of echos" or "the sixth sense", where you start to imagine that there could be someone sitting right beside you...
