I have a friend like that. She would make comments like,"you're little, you can wear anything". We've been friends for over 10 years and I just told her that it makes me feel uncomfortable for her to talk about my weight or lack there of. Just because I'm small doesn't mean I can wear anything. Petite people get just a offended as larger people do. Don't worry about it. She maybe jealous. Be thankful that you have good genes and will probably look better than her when you all get older, because your "fat" will be in the right places. Good luck.

She sounds jealous. I've got a friend who is a few lbs. lighter than me and she sometimes critisizes my pictures on the internet and says I need to cover up more and stuff-and I'm just wearing a spaghetti strap shirt and shorts!
But anyway, if your shirt is modest (in your point of view) then you need to tell her, "Look, I don't see how you think this is a hootchie shirt. Can we just please drop the subject?" If she is constantly telling you stuff about your clothes and stuff then forget her. You don't deserve a friend who is going to critisize you like that.

a person that is envious of you to the point where they have to constantly criticize, is not your friend. friends care about you and accept you for who you are. people that do things like this, really have low self esteem. bullies are the same way, they pick on people because they really feel terrible about themselves. if the 2 of you have known each other for awhile, then I would talk to her and express how you feel. if that doesn't work and things don't improve, than i would look for a new friend. it's just not worth the stress.

Shes a friend shes just probably feeling a little insecure about herself because she is a littel overweight and feels like you get all of the attention because your smaller then her. Its not right for her to put you down but its just her way of dealing. maybe confront her about it in private if she does it again and make sure she realizes that it hurts you when she says those things.

Doesn't sound like a friend. She's either jealous, insecure, or a little of both. A true friend likes you for who you are, and knows you like her for the same reason.

Don't consider her a friend. I had a "friend" like that... All he was ever seeing were my bad parts, so I stopped talking to him. He's sorry now, but it's too late.

Talk to her about it. Maybe she wants to lose a little weight and does not know how to go about doing it. Ask her if she wants to go to the gym with you.
