Its terrible, not one bit scary. Its very cheesy it never made me jump. The acting sucked, it was more of a teen scary movie. Thats what makes it bad.

The ending sucked. I wouldn't recommend going to a theatre to see it. I would wait until it came out at the local rental place.

New one was OK. Original is much better.
I like the House in the new one.

the original or the new one? - the original was much creepier -- the new one followed the horror movie playbook step by step and the ending was freakin' horrible

Yeah!! OMG it freaked me out. Although the end was kind of wierd, and it didn't tell you what happened to some people.
