I think that if you no longer need your job, you should just stay home. The biggest danger, of course, is that you won't be missed. That is when the axe starts to fall, isn't it? There was a time when I had, as I found out, too many employees...here and there, they would call in sick....and I found that the jobs all got done without them. I took a look at the payroll records, sorted out who called in sick on Mondays with regularity, found that their jobs were not necessary, and wham...they were looking for new jobs. When asked for a reference, I would say only that they were employed from... to .... NO reasons for letting them go, no good reference...just that they were employed. That is all, by law, I have to say. NOW, if that is what you want from life, go for it.

Tommy, this is Mr. Jashua speaking. You had better show up for work tomorrow buster, or you'll be out on your butt. You called in sick twice in the last month. I had better see some dr. excuses for the 10th and 14th.

i think if you need money to pay the bills you should go to work...also it is not good to miss work for no other reason if it is not a really important reason...it does not look good on your work record either if you miss work to much..i know some that have lost their job from missing work so much...and i am sure you can use the money for something...rest today and go to work tomorrow...be thankful you have a job to go to....

Yes, you should go to work tomorrow. We need good employees, not lazy ones. If you want a day off... then ask for one ahead of time.

Why? If your work ethic is this lame, then heck, stay home and watch your discipline go down the drain. Do you flip burgers or something?

I think you should go in. Save your money and plan to take off a couple of days when you can do something fun.

No, it's a Monday. Who wants to be home on a Monday? Call in on Friday.

Oh, I wish I could even wonder that myself. Unfortunately, I just cannot. But if you can miss a day, go for it.
