Babies are not like puppies you dont just "find good homes" for them. I believe that you should have your child and take care of it YOURSELF or have an abortion. Do not leave it up to someone else to raise YOUR child. If I had a child that was concieved by rape, I would definently keep the baby. It would be proof to me that good things can come from bad ones. I would not look at the baby as HIS child, but as mine. If you do notthink that you could do this than you should just have an abortion!!!! Who knows what kind of a home that child might live in if not? No life at all is better than a bad one!

My mom was in the same situation. She was raped at 17 and became pregnant. She kept the baby, met my father and had another baby with my dad. She realized as that boy started getting olde(even at 1 years old) it looked like the man that raped her, and she was treating that boy differently than her other baby. And knew it wasn't fair to that boy to keep him in a house where she would just resent him, and eventually have to tell him how he was concieved. So when he was 3 years old, my parents found a good home for him with people that could love him with out any bad thoughts of how he was concieved. You think you may be able to love unconventionally, but you just don't know until you are really in the situation. Good luck

I believe any woman.. girl.. has the right to choose, but in the case of ME being raped I would probably keep the baby just because i could never have an abortion or give it up. Plus ive always wanted kids it just would be a lil early. Um... but i would def. get counseling and help and get this rapist put away too. I have been raped before and the whole process is hell...but my answer is yes i would keep the baby. The baby is innocent.

Yes it is not the child's fault. I would raise the baby myself because I know I would be a good mother. I have heard too many horror stories in the foster system. The child did not ask for that either. I don't know that my someday husband would go for it, but that is what I would do if faced the situation. Despite if it is the morons baby... this is still part of your baby too.

If I was raped I would probably go to the hospital and get the Plan B. If I couldn't do that or if it didn't work then yes I would. My husband would probably have a problem with it but being raped wasn't the childs fault. I would probably give it up for the sake of my marriage though.

Honestly, I don't believe in abortions...
However, if you were raped I would say to get rid of it... I think it would be tough to raise a baby conceived in rape... Every time you would look at that baby, you would be reminded of what happened, and you might take it out on that child unintentionally...
I know a few people that has happened to, and the ones who kept their baby had a really hard time with it... The baby's were adorable but they couldn't handle it, and ended up in the psych ward of the hospital...
You have to think long and hard about this one... If you think you would be able to handle it, please keep that baby.... But it is all up to you...

I think abortion is murder. It would suck but if you didn't want the baby you could have it and then put the baby up for adoption if you didn't want to keep the baby. There are a LOT of families that would want to adopt the baby. I can understand not wanting the baby because of what it would remind you of but some people do keep these babies. I think you should do what is best for you.

GOD forbid that this should happen, but I would like to think that I would some how look past the horror and the evil and the wicked person and see an innocent baby that would be part of me. It's not a nice thought though.

Personally, I think you should you abort. I know it's a horrible thing. But you can't raise a child when you are not ready, knowing you had the child because of a rape. Or you can take it to an orphanage. But do not have the baby. =(

Yes, I was raped and yes I did keep the baby. She is 23 years old now and is aware of her conception. The man who raped me never knew of the pregnacy and was thankfully was killed while in Prison. I have never had any regrets about my decision. And never felt any bad feelings about keeping her. I love her with my entire life!!! It wasn't her fault of how she came to be. I just knew that she deserved the best possiable life that I could give her.
