Chuck Palahniuk

Fight Club
Fight Club is amazing book, one i have read again and again and again.. Palahniuk forces breaths to be held from beginning to end, and inspires the reader to think about their own way of life by showing how by simply meeting someone who can make us think, this way can be completely changed.

Favorite movie: Grease- I was in several plays growing up, of Grease. The memories are the best.
Favorite Book: Lord of the Ring Series. Love the movie too but I am a very imaginative reader and like the pictures I bring up better.
Favorite Author: Steven King- I have met him several times and I couldn't imagine some of that freaky stuff swirling around in my head all the time yet he makes something of it.
Director: Cameron- Spends all this money on his movies and somehow always comes out on top.

Nice question btw. What a way to get to know someone. I work at a detox and will use this question for group tomorrow. :)

My favorite book is The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. It was really interesting to read even though it is not true. It was well written fiction. I have no favorite authors or directors. I couldn't care less about who writes or directs something as long as it is good. One movie or book could suck and the next could be great. I go by that, not by the person.

My favorite movie is one that hardly anyone has even heard of. It's a Wim Wenders film called "Until the End of the World." Not a lot of big names in it, except for Sam Neill and William Hurt. I won't even begin to explain the plotline, except to say that this is a sci-fi/romantic comedy/adventure/road trip movie with a few other genres thrown in as well. There's a user comment at IMDB which sums it up pretty well.

My favorite book? That's a tough call. I've read quite a few really good ones. Overall though it would probably be Robert A. Heinlein's "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress."

Authors--Enid Blyton: she wrote the Fabulous Five series. She got me hooked on writing. At the top of my list at the moment is Basil Hill who painstakingly reconstructed the river of humankind. He reconstructed the tributaries of Abraham's seed in "The Golden Fleece Found. He searched the Koran, the Torah and the Bible and listed congruent doctrines. He highlighted doctrinal differences and showed specific prophecies that forecast them. The most impressive part for me is that he was able to reconstruct Solomon's Temple to reveal keys to higher wisdom. I also love reading the African Study Bible series, the Jerusalem Bible and the Fuegel edition of the Holy Koran--that is one of the oldest version before insertions were in.
Those books combined confirmed what I always felt: evil forces had not only wrecked the ancient Levites, but are busy today sowing hate among Jews, Gentiles, Muslims and Christians. Thank heaven I have found representatives fro all those groups and we are cemented in our resolve to rout out the spiritual termites through prayer, fasting and spiritual warfare: Ephesians 6:12.
Favourite movie: Death and the Maiden starring Ben Kingsley.
Boaz.

My favorite book is one I just finished called The Mercy of Thin Air by Ronlyn Domingue. I love it because its a debut novel from a new author and I found it to be something fresh not just one book imitating another. My fave author in general would have to be Margueritte Duras
