Aren't you aware of history? I suggest you watch the movie AMISTAD. It willgive you an idea. They are called African Americans because obviously they came from Africa. Remember slavery? The Africans were treated as slaves before and were even sold. Cruel but true. Blame the colonizers and all those responsible. I do not wish to name names so better read books on the history of slavery. Better yet, watch the movie. It made me cry although am not from Africa. My people also suffered the same fate.
