It's like any other loss it has a process which you have to work through rather like going through a tunnel, you eventually see a chink of light and know you're nearly at the end. You obviously need the companionship and affection of a relationship and are focusing on him because it has been a big part of your life and now its over. Give yourself time and you will find it eases and eventually you will be able to move on>

Maybe the question also here is a"Are you truly over him?". That's pretty much the only thing I can think of. Maybe, deep down inside, you might have some type of feelings that are still stuck with you, constantly holding onto you for some reason. But that's just an assumption.

its natural to do this as you were in love ! and despite how the relationship went wrong you invested some or or your feeling into that partner and you will find even when you are awake sometimes you*ll think of him and remember the good intermate times that you both shared together its only natural and in time you will have these dreams that your having now fade gradually away so for now dont worry and get on with living

When me and my bf split 6 weeks ago i still dreamed of him all the time too,not in a romantic or sexual way but he was just always there and i think it was because he had been a big part in my life for the last 6 years and i couldn`t quite believe that he wasn`t around anymore and part of my life. The funny thing is tho now that we`re back together i haven`t had one dream about him at all.

It's so soon. That might be why. I don't know the reason for the split-up but, if it was a mistake and you both still care for each other maybe you can talk to him. If it was a good reason then I'd try to occupy my time with something else. I know what it's like when you first split-up with someone. Good reason or not. It's really hard and heart breaking. Be patient with your feelings and see how things go from there. Good Luck!

Because a dream is a dream, is a dream! They are not controlled or planned by you, thats for sure. I dream of my parents continually and they are deceased. Does that mean they are contacting me? That would be nice I suppose. I could add lots of others who I loved that are deceased too. I guess maybe I have a stairway to heaven then. If they were any other place than that, I doubt they would be getting through to me...........

Maybe you're still in the process of moving on and getting over him. It's not easy to just forget about someone who was an important part of your life, it takes time. If you were hurt then it could be that you're still looking for a resolution of that. Just give it time.

Depends on what your dream is about. Good, bad, sexual, ordinary need details. You have re-occurrences in your life that lead your thoughts to him and how the situation would have ended. Maybe memories shared come back to you. need details.

Recurring dreams means that you have unresolved issues. And that date of yours could be triggered by something in you daily life. You should know about that better than anyone esle.
Dreaming of ex could also mean you missed soemthing in llfe and you may want to go back and try to find it.
