I have nothing negative to say about Klose, good young footballer, but cannot be compared to Zizou. Zidane is in a completely different class of player. Headbutt aside he is technically brilliant. His skills are inspiring to watch. I still can't quite grasp, I won't see him play again. Watching him play against Brazil this WC brought back so many memories of his genius. Hard to accept it's over.

All I know is Klose might not be as famous as Zidane but Klose was the one who came through in this World Cup by scoring the most goals! Besides the greats perform their best in the big games, Zidane didn't do that in the final game against Italy. He was actually shut down in that game plus he also allowed Italy to take him mentally out of his game. The greats don't let that happen to them. Zidane is good but he is NOT the greatest player ever. I believe Pele was better.

Klose? he just got famous this year..he did win the top scorer but he scored only five goals,the minimum in history and almost all the goals are not beautiful ones..definitely ZIDANE is the greatest,best respected player..perhaps not many people respect him anymore now..but i believe he deserves respects as he is a legend and no one can replace him!!! way to go zidane!! VIVE LES BLEUS!!! anyway,that's why ZIDANE won the Golden Ball Award! Because he is the BEST player of all!!!

of course every one would agree it's Zidane, b/c of all the glorious thing he did for the French team, for his clubs, and etc. He will always be the Maestro. But for Klose, he will surely become a legend someday, it's not his time, yet. Right now, Klose needs to improve more than just a typical striker. I love Klose and Zidane, and they'll both be one of the legends in my heart.

Yeah, it would be Zidane. Zidane was insulted and underestimated by his team mate (I forgot his name). But then he didn't speak out or fight or get furious to him. He spoke out just because his team mate said it twice. And there he spoke out the first and the last. Zidane is respected player. The greatest one of his time. And also the best amongst other. OMG, couldn't wirte out more since I admire him so muuuuuchh... Too bad his retired though I thought his decision was the best. He retired at his golden age so that he'd always be remembered as the greatest, best, and most respected football player at his time. Love you Zizou.

Zindane by a mile, how can you compare them Klose is six years Zizou`s junior, come back in three year`s time and ask the same question, Klose would have had three more years playing Football, Zizou would have been retired for those three year`s. And the answer will be the same,
