Not necessarily, but you might be if you've had unprotected intercourse after your last period. You can already use an at-home pregnancy test kit; these kits are readily available at most pharmacies, are easy to use, cheap [about $7-$10], and fairly accurate [over 96% a couple of days after a missed period]. You can also get tested for little or nothing at some family planning facilities. It's very important to know for sure ASAP; this is so you can get proper prenatal care if you are planning to carry the pregnancy to term, or to get a safe, medically assisted termination if you aren't yet ready to be a mother. It definetly doesn't! I was 9 days late, and I'm not pregnant! Don't worry its just your hormones and stuff.. the weather also affects it too, don't worry if you're a little late.. if it gets to like two weeks then you should check, but If you're still worried now just buy two (not one because the first one can be false) pregnacy tests. your jumping to conclusions stop worrying about it or it will be late! if you dont come on in 8 days get a EPT... if you have ahd unprotected sex in the last 5 days then get a morning after pill and jsut lie to the chemist and say its been in the last 72 hours then there give you it.. it still has a chance or working and may induce your period.
