What ever happened to the VH1 fashion awards?!?

they used to be the big deal in the fashion world

They started out as just the VH1 fashion awards and then became VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards, continuing to 2002.

My suspicions is that they were discontinued because of the popularity of the reality shows which MTV was able to much less expensively and apparantly the audience demand wasnt enough to justify the budget.

Its really a shame because theres nothing like it since.
