Why is it - that the UK is so accepting and welcoming to those of other races and creeds?

Yes they come to our country because the grass is greener on the other side - but has it occurred to anyone? - they are eating all our grass! If a person from the UK tries to find a job under the ruling of a foreign figure in another country - we are made to mop their floors - but the UK give them free housing and benefits! What do you think?

I apologise if I have offended those emailing me - have your visas run out yet? further to this - maybe you can shed some light on why everytime i phone my bank - i am transferred to mumbai???

I doubt the UK lets just anyone in and hands them money, no different from Canada or America

There is a huge number of imigrant men in my city just like every city, they stand in the shopping mall and stare and shout at the uk women, they are given money to open car washes (about 10 here now) when i can't get a thing to start my new business, so where are their wives and children? and why do they get free accomadation free TV's and video's furniture and even a car when the poor old british pensioner gets sweet f*** all. I know land lords who get £90 a week from the uk government for housing each of these men and i also know electrical goods dealers who are paid over the odds to give them fridges etc, ok their money allowance is low but come on! look at the extra's, WELL SAID JAYNE T xxx

As a young mum with a partner who earns an ok wage and own our own home the goverment do nothing for us. We get £40 a month for having a baby, I want to stay at home and look after my baby but all the goverment are interested in is getting me back to work and panning my baby of to a nursery.

We get no benifits and survive on one wage, becuase my hubby is hard working and self employed we don't get any assistance whatsoever.

If on the other hand we landed here from Poland (or some other **** hole) we would get a big council house, rather than paying for a mortgage on a wee private house, we would get milk tokens, rather than paying for our own, we would get free dental, eye care and perscriptions. We would get other benifitfs including free council gym membership (which currently cost normal people £30 a month) and free bus travel.

My partner is a joiner and works on building sites where every day he says men paid off becuase the gaffer has found someone who can't speak English to do their jb for les than half the money cash in hand - no questions ask. The same guy will be signing on at the same time no doubt.

I could go on but it makes me angry

And don't give me this clap trap about them coming over to fill skill shortages. My mate wanted to be a plumber and he had to contact 100 firms before someone would take him on to put through his apprenticship.

If there is a gap its cos the goverment do not invest in training and apprentiships like they should.

it is good to be nice, the reason to be nice from the polititian, is because, they want to have something, and they are not strong enough to be tough. the reputation of uk is more important than giving away some benefit to foreigners. why, do you know how much this can change the perceptions of the other nations toward english? you know everywhere in the world, admit that american people are very nice, the govervement is the opposite. english used to had the worst reputation in the world, then who want to do businesss with english? now, english have already changed that, english man is the most wanted man to be married in europe, not because of money, because of the the gentleman style, u know what gentleman like, yea? tolerance is the very important charactor of a strong nation, in the history, not any strong nation can exist long, without tolerance. i hated to answer this kind of question from needle-minded person.

The analogy of eating all our grass was great. I totally agree with you, our immigration is 100% out of control. We may as well just get rid of all the customs officers, even when they catch them they get put in a housing centre, then given money, food, clothing etc, then they are allowed to stay anyway because 'they are oppressed in their own countries'! Well here the news for tony (dubya's b buddy) blair, we are the ones who are feeling oppressed now!! The best bit? If we complain we are racist, if we speak out in anyway we are racist, but Abu hamza and MANY other muslim clerics and those from the former eastern bloc can say what they want, when they want and where they want, they burn our flags, threaten us with death and what do we do???? The UK has always been a mixture of races. Celts. romans, vikings, danes, anglo-saxons, jutes, normans, french, flemish, dutch, german, jews have all come as conquerors or refugees.
Most of our monarchs have been French or German.
Only you would be made to mop floors in another country, most other people would be educated enough to get a good job.

Check out the facts. They DON'T get free housing and any benefits they get are small. I have known imigrants. They don't take our jobs because they are not legally allowed to work. THEY DO NOT GET FREEBIES.
These people have barely escaped their dangerous countries to come here and live without fear in safety. But people like you don't understand their situations and you see them as a threat.

well i think tony blair is a useless w....ker anyway, he just lets anybody into the country, it seems if you are that colour and creed you can literally get away with anything even murder its a known fact, they come over here pinch our homes, our jobs, and basically our lively hoods too.

lets face it there was no aids,drug useage is in its high and it always seems to be linked with them,bombs etc and they even build there there temples etc in our country, and get away with it ,if they insult us english and we fight back its the english that get accused of being racist.

Hi,i think you are talking a load of rubbish.I am english & i do not believe its has easy as you think to get money or housing.My husband works aboard & he does not mop floors infact he has
a good job & if it was not for the country he works in we would have lost our home.
