Ok, people, I put the link there to explain the joke. I've had dogs too, they were my best friends, and I'd never be that callous to make fun of an actual dog dying...

The link brings you to another question. One that I answered and put a link on my answer to lead you back here, just in case you can't manage to find the way to your 'back' button. OK?

This time of year when the weather is hot, many Dogs go into "suspended animation". Just leave him where he is and he should start breathing and moving around when the weather cools. BUT, if he start to swell and stink you may want to move him to a more isolated area of the yard.

Do you like having a stalker Chipmunk Dude?

Hmm, sorry, still hungover..............Well, try throwing a stick for it, maybe it's seeing how long it can hold its breath for, you know dogs can't resist chasing sticks! :P

You can only be sure if he's not eating. Try offering him a piece of cheese. If he doesn't take the bait and stop pretending to be dead then you should go dig a hole and bury him.

He's just holding his breath, throwing a tantrum because you yelled at him. I'm sure he's fine.
