Everyone is getting a Wii for many reasons:
1: best backward compatability in a system so far. Download new, Snes, n64, genesis, and Turbo grafx!
2:Revolutionixes gaming because of the controller. You can live your games!
3: Wonderful games like the long anticipated Zelda Twilight Princess, Matroid prime 3: Corruption, mario Galaxy, Super Smash bros. brawl.
4: The Wii-mote is your pointer when you go on the internet. I saw a picture of a guy going on iGN.com with the Wii.
5: It's young kids to old people.
6: Colorful graphics
7: Watch Dvds with your Wii.
8: Nintnedo did not lie about any detail about the Wii like Sony did with the Blu ray on ps3. meh! Screw Ps3 to hell.
9: 10 times more features and quality things than Ps3 has and all for a smaller price(good greif)
10: nintendo will send you some suprises because you are connected to them even if your wii is off!!!
Nintendo wii is what we all love!!!!!!!!!! im getting it!!!!!!!!!

Planning on it, for a few reasons.
1. It's affordable compared to Xbox 360 and PlayStation3.
2. The controller will offer me a gaming experience I can't get on PC or any game system so far.
3. The launch lineup looks like the strongest this generation.
Down the line I might get a 360 or PS3, but at launch the Wii looks like the most fun.

I'm getting it as soon as it is released! I was kind of upset when they ridiculously renamed Nintendo Wii, I liked the original name, The Nintendo Revolution!

saving up for the PS3 so there will be nothing left for the Nintendo WII or anything else.

I sure do.cause unlike PS3 and x360 it doesn't focus on expensive technologies and on the other hand it's cheaper and its game play will be more fun(just like Nintendo DS compared to Sony psp).and it's completely unique and more innovative(unlike PS3's game pad that's a Wiimote's copycat).and it can play the games of many older systems(game cube,NES,etc).

Only if delivers what was shown. Cause remember the GameCube i was hyped over that when it came out then 6 months later, crappy games and they lowered the price.

Of course!!!!! It is without a doubt the best next gen system. I am totally looking forward to the realease date in november.

no i don't like the wii mote, if i wanted exercise i would just play outside.

I don't know it is just a gimmick. Plus the gamecube felt like they were peeing in my mouth.
