we all eat, drink, breathe, and work just like the rest of the people who walk this earth. the only difference is that we have a different preference then the other people. we are not defective or anything, and we are able to live normal lives like the rest, but there are always going to be people who feel they are macho and bash us, both physically and emotionally. and those haters have a defect, unlike us.

Very simple. Lack of knowledge. Lets take an example. Someone buys a new wahser from a store gets home and cant seem to make it work the way they want it to work or expect it to work. What do they do. Go right back to the store and say its defective. All the had to do was learn alittle more about it and it would be fine. Right. So in realation to that its the same with different cultures. They dont know anything about it and rather then trying to find out they just label it defective. Sad but true.

I don't know why people think it is so wrong. Homosexuality has existed forever. And why is it bad? Love is love. People feel how they feel. Being gay doesn't mean you're bad so I don't know why people think they are. Why is it considered a sin to love another person regardless of their sex,or race or whatever? People should just be allowed to be what they are as long as they are a decent human being and not have to worry about anything else !!

Anyone that says the Bible says it's wrong, I;m still waiting for a quote...

Gays are not so different from anyone else. Not in any harmful way, no. People treat us like we're defective because there's LOTS of ignorant people who think the bible wants them to behave that way!

Do you mean defective?

Uh..check your spelling.

Humanity is interesting because we are ALL different from any other human on the planet.

People love to feel superior to other people, at least those that aren't very comfortable with themselves. People who like themselves don't feel a need to judge other people thus they do not assume anyone else is "defective."

People hate others, because deep down inside, they hate themselves. It is that simple.

Because people don't understand that it is a natural tendency that people are born with, not a defect. Our bodies are exactly like straight people, it is just our preferences that differ

You are right. Gay people are more like straight people than they are different.

Those who use worlds like "defected" and "sick" are expressing hatred and misunderstanding by using words that don't fit the facts at hand.

because ignorance requires that labels be put onto everything and when you label something as a defect, it mentally validates you treating something that is "defected" as subhuman and inferior

The Bible. It is wrong to be gay, they are not born like that.
