It's is not currently possible to unlock a Nokia N80 (I have one and have made extensive enquiries). Someone I know in the mobile phone industry says that a guy in Russia has cracked the codes for the N80 operating system but won't release details unless he is paid £30,000. I would have thought that if someone paid this guy and then charged £5 to unlock a phone they'd make their money back pretty quick, but that's not my decision...

I reckon it'll be 2007 before they can be unlocked generally but that's just my guess.

You can unlock any phone.
Take it to the nearest phone specialist who'll do it for £5-10

actually the N80 cannot be unlocked as it is a 3G handset. save yourself the time. even if it was unlocked you would lose all the 3G services as they are network controlled

go onto www.trycktill.com thats how i unlocked my old nokia, i aint sure idf they unlock 'em' all but have a try !
