I think everyone in the South, living in a big city or a small town, is country. You can't get past the Southern-Barrier. You HAVE to go see your family on holidays. You HAVE to make some big dinner every Sunday. Food isn't properly prepared without some form of hot sauce or pepper in it. It's like a sick reflex or something. It can't be helped.

I was born, and grew up in a country town. When I turned 18 I moved to the big city. So, I guess you'd say I'm country folk. As the saying goes "you can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl".

i'm a country folk livin in the city.. I was raised in a small dairy town, got to get up early and start pickin corn, milkin cows, raising chickens, livin off the fat o' the land.
I miss it so much. i have been away from it for 25 years and can't wait to get back! my husband was born in San Fransisco, so he is all city, he's not going to know what to do with himself when he sees what a country gal I am at heart.
