no not superman, the champion of the universe is a marvel charactor who can't die and lives for fighing and has limitless strength

The Champion is a lame character, and probaly the lamest elder, including the Gardner. He loses all the time and the only he has going for him is that sometimes he has the Infinity Gem of Power, making him incapable of losing strength or tiring. But he's stupid and a poor fighter. Doomsday would be so savage in his beating of Doomsday that Champion would be destroyed. Besides, there is nothing The Champion could do to Doomsday that will hurt him. Punch Doomsday? yeah that works alot real well.

Okay, I'll grant that an immortal guy who is already billions of years old might have a slight edge of experience over Superman when it comes to taking down Doomsday. Squeeze him down into a soul gem and toss him into the nearest black hole.

If by champion of the world you mean superman, he would definitely win.although doomsday has killed him before.....
