Check your history again.
We saved more lives by dropping the bomb than what would've been lost had the Allies needed to invade Japan. These "natives" had sworn allegiance to the Emperor and were ready to put their lives on the line. If it had gone door-to-door the casualties would have gone off the map accordingly.
We warned them and they chose to ignore us.
We bombed Hiroshima and yet again they chose to defy.
So we bombed Nagasaki and they finally got the message.

Um, that would be FDR, who allowed nuclear technology research, and Truman, who gave the order for the bomb to be dropped.
No, they weren't punished.
The reason for this is simply because people were passionate about ending this war, no matter what it cost. Understand how many hundreds of thousands had already lost their lives, and this was before the whole world was aware of the horror of the Holocaust.
The Japanese DID offer to surrender in March, 1945. FDR didn't accept their terms. Truman did, four months later.

USA bombed Hiroshima,Japan on 6Th August, 1945. The tragedy was horrendous and horipillating. Yet each party has its own justification. Difficult to decide who the "accused is"

The US did and thank God we did. Dont froget August 9, 1945. The Japs can only blame themselves for what happened. So lets not here any of that BULLSHIT about how America was wrong for doing it. Shall I mention all the Jap atrocities that happened during the war. How about Dec. 7th, 1941. Over 2300 innocent Americans were murdered in a two hour air raid at Pearl Harbor. Shall I mention all the other war crimes them damm Japs committed.

The US did and may do it again. There may be no other choice. If Iran and Syria have instrumented the attacks on Israel, there will be only two things that can be done. The people of Iran and Syria should be advised that they must change their government fast or those two countries will be "wiped off the face of the earth." There seems to be no doubt that Iran and Syria are behind the attacks on Israel. The 14,000 demonstrators in Iraq for Hezbollah should have been taken out.

The President of Japan did it because he would'nt serender and he dragged the U.S.A. into the war by attacking Pear Harbor.We should have never stopped dropping atom bombs untill the Ocean over flowed that Country.

The United States of America, a$$wipe. We did it. We actually had the nerve to defend ourselves against an agressor nation and WIN a war.
PS -- as a result, Japan is a world economic power and one of our strongest allies. Now go smell your own farts and shut-up.
