Just thought I'd add that original Xbox games will not work on the Xbox 360 if you have the Core version instead of the Premium. The 360 needs a hard drive to store files that tell it how to emulate each original Xbox game, and if it's not there the 360 won't know how to handle them.

No because of the core GPU in use utilizes different code to make the game run. Some original XBOX games on the other hand can be played on the XBOX360.

Think of the PS1 and PS2. You can play all PS1 games on the PS2 but not the other way around as the PS1 uses CD technology and the PS2 utilizes DVD technology.

That would like totally defeat the purpose of selling the 360 counsel. It'd be like totally cool if they did but that's not happening anytime in the future.

no but most xbox games work on 360

My brother has an x-box360 and the normal games do not work on it cause he tried
