it is not overreaction its war insanity that lies in the minds and heads of Israel commanders , Think of Israel abducting tens of thousands of other prisoners of war from both palastine and Lebnon from which there are women and children , They break in houses and do exactly what other responders to the Q are fantasizing about ,,,The attack has been planned years before and the targets were already in the F16's computer..
Now they are telling all groups not to abduct soldiers but to kill them cold blooded in the scene

To put a final halt to that kind of action. The concept of proportionality is broken. No war has ever been won by proportional retaliation. the problems in the middle east will continue until there is a clear winner. if things continue as they have for the last 58 years there will never be a winner and the middle east will continue to be a place of conflict.

Thought Experiment:
If cease-fires and peace protest really bring peace, Why is the middle East one of the regions of the world with the most violence, not the most peacful?

At least Israel has the balls to do what America seems incapable of doing, that is killing terrorists. There will be no peace in the Middle East (or the world, for that matter) until each and every terrorist is exterminated.

Stop being aggressively ignorant and stop believing that this culture is a victim of OURS. Radical Islamism today is nothing but a new form of Nazism.

They didn't overreact. Isreal has been picked at for a long time. It was like the straw that broke the camel's back. They CAN'T let a militant group being funded by Syria and Iran steal their soldiers. That would be like laying down.

And if Iranian soldiers openly attacked a US military base, killed several soldiers and kidnapped others, you think the US would just tell the Iranians we're angry with them and please don't do it again? Or would we send airstrikes into Iran?

And it's not just one set of abductions and killing. It's also hundreds of rockets fired at Israeli villages, and a decade or more of Hezbollah doing the same types of attacks over and over and over and over and over and over and over again and again and again and again and again. Until Israel said "Enough. No more."

I'm going to come into your house, steal one or two of your children, drive by and shoot at your house (hoping to kill as many people in your house as posible). See how you react to that.

That's what they face how would you like it.
