Hey!!

When I do return to Clarion (hopefully sooner than later), I'll be 24 and I don't want teachers and friends/other students to think I was out of school to get married or have a family. That isn't the case!!! I don't even have a boyfriend. Will they think that's why I was out of school for a year?!? I know that some people do that sort of thing. I want to just return and be one of the regular college kids again!!!

Then just be yourself. Tell them that you weren't out to make babbies and get hitched.

Who cares what they think? What matters is how you feel about yourself, and what's right for you.

Who cares what anybody else thinks? If you think it's that important for folks to know why you were out of school, write a letter and give it to everyone you see so they will know what was going on while you were gone.
Of course, no-one else does that, so, you won't be one of the regular college kids if you do that. Why not just go and pretend you were never gone. If the college is big enough, no one will know, much less care, anyway.

I don't see why anyone would assume that. There are many reasons people leave school. You could just tell them why you left if you're worried about them thinking something that is incorrect.
