I have gained over 100 pounds on prednisone and I heard that she took it too, but missed the reason why she is on it.

I heard her mention it too but didn't catch the name of the disease.
Ive been on Prednisone for a year and a half almost and thankfully, gained only about 5 pounds. This is still after following a strict diet and excercising 4-5 times a week. My doctor warned me and was even suprised at how little I gained. Moral of the story...I'm not suprised that she gained so much after taking the meds. It often causes large weight gain suddenly and it's really hard to take the weight off.

Medications DO NOT cause that much weight gain. At the most, medications will cause 10-20 pounds. Put down the doubleburger with cheese and go EXERCISE.

I believe that they said she had a disease called Sarcoidosis.

she has a disease cause seacadona,not sure how to spell it that attacks your bodies cells and nerves.
