Take a flyer on DeAngelo Williams, if he does move into the starting role, you'll have someone worth starting and give you some trade depth if you stay healthy. Chances are pretty good that he'll take the job outright anyway, he's done nothing but impress in camp, and a team doesn't draft a RB first round for depth regardless of what they said post-draft; they want him to win the job, and he will be given opportunity to do so. But, he probably will not be the opening day starter, meaning he will be available in later rounds of your draft.

At the very least he's going to be a change of pace back, and if you saw him in college (I did), he's got the ability to turn a 3 yard in a cloud of dust play into a 60 yard TD. It only takes one of those to give you quality points as a spot starter.

DeAngelo Williams of Carolina will be starting at some point. Deshaun Foster is just to fragile to handle an NFL season.

New Englands backup (Lawrence Maroney - sp?) is also a gamble in case age has finally caught up with Corey Dillon.

Tatum Bell in Denver is also good.. he may not be a backup, but he's not a clear cut #1 either. The problem with Bell is he's Feast or Famine.. he'll be incredible one week, and barely touch the ball the following.

Joseph Addai is also a good backup bet in Indy. I don't see Dominic Rhodes shouldering the load all season, and from what I've heard, Addai is similar in style to Edge, in the fact he can run and catch, which is a definite plus in the Indy offense.

These RB are worries for being hurt
Deshaun foster

these info I found on msn homepage under sports fantasy football.

my main backup running back is
michael pittman
He AVE 6.2 yards a carry . I can not say he is the best choice but . I got this from a fantasy sports draft book

Ron dayne AVE 5.2 yards a carry
Mike anderson AVE 4.1 yards a carry

So michael pittman, Mike anderson or Ron danye

Check out Julius Jones' backup at Dallas. Great runner. Gado at Green Bay is worth picking up too.

It relies upon on your league scoring. If it quite is a PPR league, take distinctiveness. If not, take Turner. an excellent style of human beings are frightened approximately Turner donning down because of the fact he have been given 370 consists of final year. yet reality is, in case you comprise receptions, Peterson have been given greater touches than Turner final year. And Peterson had an entire workload the year in the previous, while Turner grew to become right into a backup. Turner has regarded impressive interior the preseason and if it quite is a non-PPR league, i might circulate with Turner all the way. stable success!

Reggie Bush would be a great pickup for later rounds unless someone jumps the gun and waste an early pick. He probably will not be used much until later in the year.
