Sports bars are pretty cool, but to me they're more too relax have some drinks, play darts and watch the game. If there's some random band yelling in the corner, doing covers of songs that are better on the radio it ruins the experience

Let's start with the cons, since there are more of them.
1. Rowdy patrons
2. Drunks
3. Cost of liquor license
4. Cost of liability insurance
5. All the smoke
6. Drunks
7. Table dancing to the music, by drunks
8. Hugh initial capital needs
Okay, now for the pros,
1. Profits
2. Meet new people
That about covers it.

Pros include making lots of money if you do it correctly. Cons: finding good help, working long hours, worrying about drunks and underage drinking. Look for a business to business enterprise that only requires you to work regular business hours instead of all the time. I had a good friend open a restaurant/bar. He had it 5 years and once it closed, he described it as a great party that lasted 5 years and cost him about $600,000. Do you have that kind of money burning a hole in your pocket?

If one of the band members gets caught dealing drugs you'll lose your license.
