Outlook wants a server url and Thunderbird wants a pop server. I know this is really 2 questions, but they are related and I only want to reduce the number of email clients I gotta use.

Read your Hotmail with Thunderbird:
--------------------------------------
>>> In order for your Thunderbird to be able to read your Hotmail (and some other popular web-based email providers like Yahoo, Gmail, etc.) you simply need to download and install an 'extension' called 'WebMail'. It can be found at Thundebird-creator's webpage:

http://webmail.mozdev.org/installation.html

Installation-instructions can be found at the bottom of the page mentioned above. Further settings for your accounts (like Account Setup, Server Settings, etc.) can be found at the menu on the left.

Read your Yahoo! mail with Outlook:
--------------------------------------
>>> Once able to do it the free-way without much hassle, by clicking on 'Mail Options' and enabling 'POP Access & Forwarding' on Yahoo!, and then setup an account at Outlook to receive it. Now, you can still do it the same way, but you have to subscribe to the Yahoo! Mail Plus service, and it costs $19.99/year (about $2/month).

If thats to much or you think that it's not worth paying money for your email, you can download a program that 'fills the gap' between Yahoo! and your Outlook and makes it possible for them to commmunicate. It's free and it's called YPOPs! (http://www.ypopsemail.com ) and it can be downloaded at the link provided bellow:

There are various Outlook versions - Outlook 2000, Outlook XP, Outlook 2003 (not to mention Outlook Express). Further instructions on how to configure the program with your Outlook client can be found at the link below:
