can anyone think of a cheap fun pet that i can get now my stick insects have died that i can keep in a medium sized lastic tub thing?

Fish, so eay to look after. Only need feeding every couple of days and when you go away you can just stick one of those slow release food blocks in the tank. Just don't put the tank in sunlight, makes all the sides go green and needs cleaning more often. Great entertainment for the cat too!

A hamster is a good pet to have. They are pretty cheap depending on the kind that you get.

get a guinea pig or a rabbit they are really easy to look afta and really easy to keep if you are looking for something to keep inside then a cat or a dog or even get a rabbit and keep it as a house rabbit!

african land snails they are really cool to watch and really cheap like £2 most reptile place will sell them or ask your normal pet shop to order you some in they should do this with no problem

You might want a pet hissing cockroach from a pet store,it usually cost dollars 6.00,but don't catch one from the wild they might have diseases,if you get them at a petstore they will be disease free.

I would say a ferret ; I have one . But they arent exactly cheap & they require a lot of work & attention . I would say - a hamster :]
